Oil seal
Oil seals - often called grease, fluid or dirt seals close spaces between stationary and moving components in mechanical equipment, helping prevent lubricant escape.A component of machine that seals lubricants, an oil seal is constructed of rubber, garter spring, and an internal case.
1. The purpose of the seal is to stop the fluid from leaking between the shaft and housing.
