Automobile wear-resistant rubber gasket
What is a rubber gasket? Where is it used?
Custom rubber gaskets and seals are common rubber products used in almost every commercial industry. The rubber gasket forms a barrier between two objects. This helps prevent leakage or contamination of the container contents. The compressibility of the rubber gasket provides an opportunity for sealing between the two surfaces.

Application field
Automobile industry
In the automotive field, seals and gaskets are used in mechanical equipment to close the space between components and prevent dust or dirt from escaping or entering.
There are many different types of automotive seals and gaskets, such as:
Cooling system seals and gaskets
Cooling system gaskets are suitable for fixing or sealing matching components and pipe joints to prevent fluid leakage. These types of gaskets are usually made of sheet materials, such as graphite, silicone, nitrile, fluorosiloxane, fluorocarbon, and neoprene.
Differential seals and gaskets
Differential seals and gaskets reduce the risk of dirt, dirt and other contaminants entering the shaft tube, which can damage transmission components and maintain the position of gear oil. These components are fixed on the gearbox shaft for excellent flexibility.
High and low temperature applications
In some cases, your application will require gaskets that can withstand high or low temperature conditions. Choosing the right polymer, grade and formulation is the key to a durable seal.
Certain elastomers have excellent resistance to high temperatures or extreme cold. Sometimes, a material has a high tolerance for both. These elastomers are very suitable for exposure to extended temperature ranges. For example, the silicone gaskets used in industrial ovens can also work in freezers or coolers in the facility.
Your sales engineer will discuss the choice of rubber compound with you so that you can make an informed decision on which elastomer best meets your needs.
